Michelle calls herself the "mini RMT" because that is exactly what people first notice about her. Standing at a whopping 4 foot 11 inches, she is very used to being judged because of her size. She was actually laughed at by another RMT when she told him that this is what she wanted to do after High School. Now specializing in Deep Tissue treatments, Michelle can treat clients 3 times her size. As other skilled therapist know, a strong massage comes from an effective use of body weight and does not rely on arm strength. Michelle wants people to know that small people CAN give strong massages too! She also wants to inspire those who are planning to be Massage Therapists who get judged because they are the smallest in their class.
Michelle graduated from Canadian Therapeutic College in and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Although she is done school, she is never done learning. Michelle continues to learn new modalities that she knows will help her clients get better. She loves her job and takes pride in her work. Quality is a priority to her. She never gives a dull massage and is always giving 110% by working up a sweat with a smile on her face.
Aside from being a Massage Therapist, Michelle is also a mommy to two little princesses named Tyla and Gabrielle. They spend quality family time at the grocery store, in front of the TV watching Treehouse, and having tickle fights on the floor. |
